4. Setup Instructions
- Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and insert 2 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- No Programming Required: This remote does not require any complex programming or pairing. It is designed for immediate use after battery insertion.
- Unlock Your Apple TV: Crucial Step: Before attempting to use the Angrox remote, you must "UNLOCK" your Apple TV device using its original remote control. If your Apple TV is locked to its previous remote, this replacement remote will not function correctly.

5. Operating Instructions
Once batteries are installed and your Apple TV is unlocked, the remote is ready for use. Point the remote directly at your Apple TV device. The optimal operating distance is approximately 5 meters, with a maximum effective range of 10 meters (35 feet).
Button Functions:
- Power Button (Red): Turns the Apple TV on or off.
- Navigation Pad (Circular): Use to navigate menus and select items.
- OK / Enter Button (Center of Nav Pad): Confirms selections.

- Verify that your Apple TV device has been "UNLOCKED" using its original remote. This is a common reason for non-responsiveness.
- Check for any obstructions between the remote and the Apple TV's IR receiver.
- Ensure you are within the effective operating range (up to 10 meters).
- Volume/Mute Buttons Not Working:
- These buttons are designed for direct TV control. Confirm your TV brand is listed under the compatible brands in Section 5.
- Ensure the remote has a clear line of sight to your television's IR receiver.
- No Siri/Voice/Touchpad Functionality:
- This remote is an IR replacement and does not support Siri, voice commands, or touchpad features. This is by design.
