5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting the Scooter (Electric Mode)

For safety, the scooter does not start from a standstill. Your child must initiate a kick-start:

  1. Place one foot on the pedal switch (the pressure-sensitive area on the deck).
  2. Use the other foot to push off the ground, similar to a traditional kick scooter.
  3. Once the scooter gains a small amount of momentum, the electric motor will engage, and the scooter will accelerate.

5.3 Braking

The scooter is equipped with a sensitive foot-operated brake located on the rear wheel. To slow down or stop, gently press down on the rear fender with your foot.

5.4 Steering

The scooter utilizes a gravity steering design. To turn, lean your body in the desired direction. This design helps improve the child's balance and provides smoother turning.

5.5 LED Lights

The wheels and front of the scooter feature flashing LED lights. The front wheels are electromagnetically induced, meaning they light up when the scooter is in motion. The vertical tube LED lights turn off automatically after 120 seconds of inactivity. There is no manual switch to control the LED lights.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the scooter with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Do not spray water directly onto electrical components.
  • Storage: Store the scooter in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Battery Care: Charge the battery regularly, even if the scooter is not in use for extended periods, to maintain battery health. Avoid completely draining the battery.
  • Inspections: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and connections to ensure they are tight. Inspect the wheels for wear and tear.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Scooter not starting in electric mode: Ensure the battery is charged. Remember, the scooter requires a kick-start to engage the motor. Place one foot on the pedal switch and push off with the other foot.
  • LED lights on vertical tube not turning off automatically: If the LED lights on the vertical tube flash normally but do not turn off after 120 seconds of inactivity, check if the pedal switch or the brake switch is stuck. Press the pedal switch or brake switch again to reset it.
  • Reduced range or speed: This could indicate a low battery charge. Ensure the battery is fully charged before use. Extreme temperatures can also affect battery performance.
  • Unusual noises: Stop using the scooter immediately and inspect for loose parts or damage. If you cannot identify the issue, contact customer support.
