Setup
Unboxing and Initial Setup
Upon unboxing your Roomba 205, you will find the robot, a compact charging base, a power cord, and a mopping pad attachment. Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Remove all packaging materials from the robot and accessories.
- Place the charging base against a wall in an open, uncluttered area. Ensure there is at least 1.5 feet of clear space on either side of the base and 4 feet in front of it.
- Plug the power cord into the charging base and then into a wall outlet.
- Place the Roomba 205 onto the charging base, ensuring the charging contacts align. The robot will emit a sound to confirm it is charging.
