Setup and Assembly

Your DYU electric bike comes 85% assembled. The following steps detail the installation of the rear seat components, which are essential for passenger comfort and storage. Tools required include a spanner and a 7-in-1 multi-tool, both provided with your bike.

Installation Steps:

1. Install the Rear Saddle Base: Secure the metal plate to the rear rack using the provided screws and the 7-in-1 tool. Ensure it is tightened clockwise for a secure fit.
2. Attach the Rear Saddle: Place the rear saddle cushion onto the installed base. Align the mounting points and secure it firmly with the screws, tightening them with the spanner.
3. Install the Back Support & Storage Box: Attach the back support to the rear rack using the designated screws. Ensure the screws are fully tightened for stability. The storage box can then be attached to the back support.
4. Install the Handle: Secure the handle to the seat post using the provided screws and the 7-in-1 tool. Tighten clockwise until firm.
5. Install the Rear Pedals: Attach the rear pedals to the designated mounting points on the bike frame near the rear wheel. Use the provided screws and the 7-in-1 tool, tightening clockwise.
6. Install the Dress Guard: Secure the dress guard to the rear frame using the straps or fasteners provided, ensuring it covers the rear wheel spokes to prevent clothing entanglement.

Operating Your Electric Bike
