2. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Bona Spray Mop Air for first-time use or when refilling the cleaner cartridge:
- Assemble the Mop: Connect the handle sections firmly until they click into place. Ensure the mop head is securely attached to the main pole.
- Prepare the Cleaner Cartridge: The mop comes with a refillable cleaner cartridge. If using a concentrate packet, simply pour the entire contents of the Bona Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner Concentrate pouch into the empty mop cartridge.
- Fill with Water: Fill the remainder of the cartridge with water. Securely close the cartridge cap.
- Insert Cartridge: Insert the filled cleaner cartridge into the designated slot on the mop handle until it clicks into place.
- Attach Microfiber Pad: Align the microfiber cleaning pad with the hook-and-loop fasteners on the bottom of the mop head. Press firmly to secure the pad.

3. Operating Instructions
The Bona Spray Mop Air is designed for ease of use on various hard-surface floors.
- Prepare the Area: For best results, sweep or vacuum the floor to remove loose dirt and debris before mopping.
- Spray Cleaner: Hold the mop upright and press the trigger located on the handle to spray a fine mist of cleaner onto the floor. Do not oversaturate the floor.
- Mop the Floor: Glide the mop head over the sprayed area, moving in a back-and-forth motion. The lightweight design and 360° swivel head allow for easy maneuverability around furniture and into tight spaces.
- Allow to Dry: The Bona cleaner is fast-drying and streak-free. Allow the floor to air dry completely. No rinsing is required.
- Spot Cleaning: For small spills or quick clean-ups, simply spray and wipe the affected area.

4. Maintenance

- Cleaning the Microfiber Pad: After each use, remove the microfiber cleaning pad from the mop head. The pad is machine washable and reusable up to 500 times. Wash with similar colors in warm water. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Tumble dry low or air dry.
- Storing the Mop: When not in use, store the mop in a cool, dry place. The compact design allows it to be hung or stored upright, saving space.
- Refilling the Cartridge: When the cleaner cartridge is empty, refill it as described in the Setup section.
