Setup and Installation
The OREiN Dual-Power Flood Light offers two primary installation methods: permanent hardwired connection or cable-free solar operation. Installation typically takes less than 15 minutes with the included bracket and tools.
1. Choosing an Installation Location
Select a location that provides optimal sunlight exposure for the solar panel throughout the day if primarily using solar power. For hardwired operation, ensure proximity to an electrical junction box. The light is designed for outdoor use and is IP65 waterproof.
2. Mounting the Unit
- Attach the mounting plate to the desired surface using the provided screws and wall anchors.
- Secure the flood light unit to the mounted plate.
- Mount the solar panel in a location that receives direct sunlight. The solar panel comes with a reasonably long cable (approximately 15ft) to allow flexible placement.
3. Wiring (for Hardwired Operation)
For continuous power and maximum brightness (3500LM), connect the flood light to your electrical system. Consult a qualified electrician if you are unsure about electrical wiring procedures.

The light uses solar energy first. If the battery power drops below 20%, it automatically switches to electric power supply, providing 3500LM. When the battery recharges to over 40% via solar, it switches back to solar power, providing 2100LM.
Operating Instructions
1. Initial Power-Up and Solar Charging
Upon installation, the solar panel will begin charging the internal 4400mAh batteries during daylight hours. A full charge typically takes 5-8 hours of direct sunlight. The light will automatically turn on at night and off at dusk when in Dusk to Dawn mode.

2. Aidot APP Control
For full functionality and customization, download the Aidot APP from your smartphone's app store. An account is required to use the app.
- Brightness Adjustment: Adjust light intensity from 1% to 100%.
- Color Temperature (3CCT): Select between 2700K (warm white), 4000K (neutral white), and 5000K (cool white).
- RGB Night Light: Choose from 16 million colors for decorative lighting. Note: The RGB night light is primarily APP-controlled and not via a physical button.
- Scheduling: Set custom schedules for light operation.

3. Lighting Modes
The light features three distinct operating modes, configurable via the APP or physical button:
- Dusk to Dawn Mode: The light automatically turns on at night and turns off during the day.
- Motion Mode: The light automatically turns on at night when motion is detected and stays on for a set duration (15s-120s).
- Security Mode: The light flashes for 2 minutes after detecting motion to warn intruders, and an APP warning message is received.

4. Adjusting Sensor and Light Heads
The motion sensor and light heads are adjustable to optimize coverage and illumination. The sensor covers 240° x 50ft. Light heads can be rotated 350° and adjusted vertically 330° and horizontally 200° for multi-directional security.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your OREiN flood light.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the solar panel and light lenses with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris that may obstruct light output or solar charging efficiency. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Battery Replacement: The unit features replaceable 18650 2200mAh 3.7V batteries. If you notice a significant decrease in battery life or performance over time, the batteries can be replaced. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full user manual for battery access.
