1. Introduction

The PQWT S300 is an advanced underground water detector designed for geological prospecting, well drilling, and aquifer surveys. Utilizing the natural electric field method, it offers automatic mapping functions to identify geological structures and locate water sources with a maximum exploration depth of 300 meters. This manual provides detailed instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your PQWT S300 device.

2. Safety Guidelines

Please read and understand all safety instructions before operating the PQWT S300 to ensure safe and effective use.

  • The electrode rod must not be shaken during recording.
  • The copper electrode must not touch metal objects while recording.
  • It is recommended that each measurement line should consist of more than 15 points for accurate data.
  • Instruments are strictly prohibited for use during thunderstorms.
  • Wiring needs to avoid areas with high voltage lines and significant ground drop.

5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your PQWT S300 for measurement:

  1. Site Preparation: Select a suitable exploration area. The geophysical wiring is generally set up to present a vertical structure, or a net-shape vertical crossing wiring in open areas.
  2. Lay Out Measuring Tape: Select a measuring tape (e.g., 50 meters) and pull it open along a straight line at the location to be explored. Mark the starting point (0 meters).
  3. Connect Electrodes: Insert one alloy electrode near the host machine into the tape position of 0 meters. Insert the other alloy electrode into the tape position of 10 meters. Ensure the special cable connects the electrodes to the M N port of the host machine.
  4. Power On: Long press the main switch button to power on the device. The system will start and display the main interface.
