4. Setup

Follow these steps for the initial setup of your ice maker.

  1. Unpack: Remove all packaging materials and check for any damage.
  2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a level, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm of space around the unit for proper ventilation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

6.1 Self-Cleaning Function

The ice maker features a convenient self-cleaning function.

  1. Empty Water: Ensure the water reservoir is empty.
  2. Add Water: Fill the reservoir with clean water up to the 'MAX' line.
  3. Activate Self-Clean: Press and hold the CLEAN button (or a combination of buttons as indicated on your specific model's control panel, typically the 'SELECT' button for 5 seconds) until the 'clean' indicator light illuminates. The machine will run a cleaning cycle.
