Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your surveillance system:

  • Clean Camera Lenses: Periodically wipe camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and smudges that can affect image clarity.

  • Keep DVR Ventilated: Ensure the DVR unit has adequate ventilation to prevent overheating. Do not block air vents.
  • Software Updates: Check for and install firmware updates for your DVR to ensure you have the latest features and security patches.
  • Hard Drive Health: Monitor the health of the 1TB HDD through the DVR's system settings. Consider backing up critical footage regularly.
