4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Earphones and Case

Before first use, fully charge the earphones and the charging case.

  1. Place the earphones into the charging case. Ensure the charging contacts align.
  2. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and to a power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port).
  3. The LED indicators on the case will show the charging status. Once fully charged, the indicators will change or turn off.

A 10-minute charge provides approximately 1 hour of playtime. The earphones offer up to 8 hours of listening time on a single charge, with the charging case providing an additional 16 hours, totaling 24 hours of battery life.

4.2 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Open the charging case, and the earphones will automatically power on.
  • Power Off: Place the earphones back into the charging case and close the lid. They will automatically power off and begin charging.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your earphones to a device for the first time:

  1. Ensure the earphones are charged and inside the charging case.
  2. Open the charging case. The earphones will enter pairing mode, and their LED indicators will flash (refer to specific light patterns in the Quick Start Guide if available).
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth.
  4. Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "Monster Open Ear AC360" from the list.
  5. Once connected, the earphone LED indicators will stop flashing, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

The earphones feature an upgraded Bluetooth 5.4 chip for faster connection speeds and a more stable signal.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Wearing the Earphones

The AC360 earphones are designed for an open-ear fit, resting comfortably and securely without entering the ear canal. This allows for awareness of your surroundings.

  1. Identify the Left (L) and Right (R) earphones.
  2. Gently hook the earphone over your ear, positioning the speaker part just outside your ear canal.
  3. Adjust the rotary earphone for a stable and comfortable fit.

5.2 Touch Controls

The earphones feature intuitive touch controls on the outer surface of each earbud.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

6.2 Storage

6.3 Water Resistance

The Monster Open Ear AC360 earphones are rated IPX5 water resistant, meaning they can withstand sweat and light splashes of water. They are not designed for submersion in water. Avoid using them while swimming or showering.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your earphones, refer to the following common solutions:

  • No Power: Ensure the earphones and charging case are fully charged.
  • Cannot Pair:
    • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
    • Ensure the earphones are in pairing mode (LEDs flashing).
    • Move the earphones closer to your device.
    • Forget "Monster Open Ear AC360" from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
  • No Sound:
    • Check the volume level on both your device and the earphones.
    • Ensure the earphones are properly connected to your device.
    • Try playing audio from a different application or source.
  • One Earphone Not Working: Place both earphones back into the charging case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then open the lid and try reconnecting.
