2. Key Features

3. Setup
3.1. Connecting the Keyboard
The AJAZZ AK650 supports three connection modes: wired, 2.4G wireless, and Bluetooth. Select the mode that best suits your device and preference.
Wired Connection (USB-C)
- Locate the USB-C port on the back of the keyboard.
- Connect the provided USB-C to USB-A cable to the keyboard and your computer.
- Ensure the mode switch on the back of the keyboard is set to the USB position (middle).
- The keyboard is now ready for use.
2.4G Wireless Connection
- Remove the 2.4G wireless receiver (dongle) from its storage slot on the back of the keyboard.
- Plug the receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Set the mode switch on the back of the keyboard to the 2.4G position (left).
- The keyboard should automatically connect. If not, press FN + Q to initiate pairing. The Q key will flash white and then return to backlight mode upon successful connection.
Bluetooth Connection
- Set the mode switch on the back of the keyboard to the BT position (right).
- Press and hold FN + W, FN + E, or FN + R for 3-5 seconds to enter pairing mode for BT1, BT2, or BT3 respectively. The corresponding key (W, E, or R) will flash white.
- On your device (computer, tablet, etc.), search for Bluetooth devices and select "AK650 BT1/BT2/BT3".
- Once connected, the key will stop flashing and return to backlight mode. You can pair up to three Bluetooth devices and switch between them using FN + W/E/R.

4.1. RGB Lighting Control

- Use the provided keycap puller to gently remove the keycap from the switch.
- Use the provided switch puller to carefully grip the switch on its upper and lower sides. Gently pull the switch straight up and out of the PCB.
- Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB. Ensure the pins are straight to avoid bending.
- Gently push the new switch vertically into the socket until it clicks into place. Ensure it is seated firmly and evenly.
- Replace the keycap.

5.2. Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your keyboard:
- Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps.
- For stubborn dirt, gently wipe keycaps with a damp cloth (water only) or a mild keyboard cleaning solution. Avoid excessive moisture.
- The keyboard comes with a clear molded dust cover. Use it when the keyboard is not in use to keep it clean and dust-free.
