5. Operation

Dispensing Water

To dispense filtered water, simply pull the spigot handle forward. Release the handle to stop the flow. The ergonomic design of the spigot allows for convenient pouring directly into glasses or bottles.

Using the Integrated TDS Meter

The dispenser features an integrated Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) meter. This meter measures the amount of inorganic substances present in your water, providing an instant reading of your water quality. A reading of "0" indicates virtually all dissolved solids have been removed, signifying optimal filter performance.

  • The TDS meter automatically activates when water is dispensed.
  • Monitor the TDS reading regularly. When the reading begins to rise above 0, it indicates that the filter is nearing the end of its life and should be replaced soon.

6. Maintenance

Filter Replacement

The filter life depends on your water quality and usage. The TDS meter is your primary indicator for filter replacement. When the TDS reading consistently rises above 0, it's time to replace the filter.

  1. Empty any remaining water from the dispenser.
  2. Unscrew the old filter from the upper reservoir.
  3. Dispose of the old filter responsibly.
  4. Screw in a new Culligan with ZeroWater Technology 5-stage filter firmly by hand.
  5. Fill the reservoir with tap water and discard the first two full reservoirs of filtered water to prime the new filter.

Note: This dispenser is compatible only with new Culligan with ZeroWater Technology filters. It is not compatible with legacy ZeroWater filters.

Cleaning the Dispenser

Regular cleaning of the dispenser reservoir, lid, and spigot is recommended. Use mild dish soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers, as they may scratch the plastic. The TDS meter can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
