Setup

1. Charge the Battery: Before first use, fully charge the 20V 2.0Ah battery using the provided 20V 60W charger. Refer to the charger's instruction manual for detailed charging procedures.
2. Install the Debris Remover:

   Align the debris remover with the designated slots on the hedge trimmer body. Push firmly until it clicks into place. This accessory helps direct clippings away from the cutting area.

3. Insert the Battery: Slide the charged battery pack into the battery port on the hedge trimmer until it locks securely. Ensure it is fully seated.
4. Remove Blade Sheath: Carefully remove the blade sheath from the cutting blades before operation. Store the sheath in a safe place for future use.

Operating Instructions

1. Starting the Trimmer:

   To start the hedge trimmer, depress the safety switch (usually located on the front handle) and then squeeze the trigger switch on the rear handle. Release the safety switch once the blades begin to move.

2. Stopping the Trimmer:

   Release the trigger switch to stop the hedge trimmer. The blades will stop moving shortly after the trigger is released.
3. Trimming Technique:
   • Hold the trimmer firmly with both hands.
   • Use a sweeping motion to cut through hedges.
   • For optimal results, cut small amounts at a time. The trimmer can cut branches up to 3/4-inch thick.

4. Brushless Motor Performance:

Maintenance

• Blade Cleaning: After each use, disconnect the battery and carefully clean the blades with a stiff brush to remove sap and debris. Apply a light machine oil to the blades to prevent rust and ensure smooth operation.
• Battery Care: Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not store the battery fully discharged for extended periods.
• General Cleaning: Wipe down the tool's exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Storage: When not in use, store the hedge trimmer in a secure, dry location, out of reach of children. Utilize the included EASYSTORAGE bracket for convenient and organized storage.
