Setup

1. Battery Installation (Remote Control)

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Battery Installation and Charging (Vehicle)

1. Turn the vehicle upside down.
2. Locate the battery compartment cover on the underside of the vehicle.
3. Open the battery compartment cover.
4. Connect the rechargeable USB-C battery to the vehicle's connector.
5. Place the battery inside the compartment and close the cover securely.
6. To charge the vehicle battery, connect the USB-C charging cable to the vehicle's USB-C port and then to a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
7. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge provides up to 20 minutes of operation.

3. Pairing the Remote Control

1. Ensure both the vehicle and the remote control have fresh or fully charged batteries.
2. Turn on the vehicle using its power switch.
3. Turn on the remote control using its power switch.
4. The remote control and vehicle will automatically pair. An indicator light on the remote will confirm successful pairing.
5. If pairing fails, turn both devices off and repeat the process.

Basic Controls

• Forward/Backward: Use the left joystick or trigger on the remote control to move the vehicle forward or backward.
• Steering: Use the right joystick or steering wheel on the remote control to turn the vehicle left or right.

• The Gear Monster 3.0 is designed for off-road use. Its large pneumatic tires provide grip on various surfaces like rocky trails and grassy areas.
• Practice in an open area to familiarize yourself with the controls before attempting complex maneuvers.
• Avoid driving in deep water, mud, or sand to prevent damage to internal components.
• For multi-player races, up to 16 vehicles can operate simultaneously thanks to 2.4 GHz technology. Ensure each vehicle and remote is paired correctly.
