4. Setup (Assembly Instructions)

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Converting from Couch to Bed
- Clear the Area: Ensure there are no obstructions in front of the unit that would impede the bed's deployment.
- Pull Handles: Gently pull on the handles located on the front panel of the Murphy bed cabinet.
- Lower Bed: Guide the bed downwards smoothly. The dual piston mechanism will assist in the lowering process.
- Deploy Support Legs: As the bed lowers, flip the support legs down onto the floor to provide stability.

5.2 Converting from Bed to Couch
- Remove Bedding: Clear all bedding, pillows, and mattresses from the bed frame.
- Fold Support Legs: Fold the support legs back into their stored position.
- Lift Bed: Gently lift the bed frame upwards. The dual piston mechanism will assist in raising the bed back into the cabinet.
- Secure in Cabinet: Push the bed fully into the cabinet until it is securely latched, revealing the couch.

5.3 Using Storage Shelves
The integrated side shelves provide convenient storage for books, decor, or other personal items. Ensure items placed on shelves do not obstruct the bed's operation or exceed the shelf's weight capacity.
