3. Installation Guide

3.1 Main Unit Installation

1. Remove Original Radio: Use the provided frame removal tool to carefully pry off the original car display trim frame.

5. Connect Other Cables: Connect all other necessary cables (USB, GPS antenna, microphone, etc.) to the new device. Ensure the white plug for the backup camera display is connected, even if a backup camera is not installed, as it affects Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals.

3.2 Backup Camera Installation

1. Select Camera Location: Install the backup camera at the vehicle's license plate location.
2. Thread Power Cable: Thread the camera's power cable into the vehicle interior, typically through the license plate light housing or another existing gap.
3. Route Extension Cable: To make threading easier, remove the trunk trim panel. Locate the camera power cable threaded from the outside. Connect the camera extension cable. Route this cable along the door frame, tucking it into gaps for a clean appearance, all the way to the car radio area.
4. Connect to Reverse Light (if no CANBUS): If your car lacks CANBUS functionality, connect the red wire from the red-black cable to the reverse light's positive pole. Insulate the black wire. If the wire is not long enough, use a spare copper wire as an extension.
5. Connect to Head Unit: Connect the yellow plug of the camera extension cable to the "Backup camera video input Cable" on the head unit. Connect the blue wire on the other end to the "Rear CAM Control" wire in the power harness.
