5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Flight Battery

  1. Connect the USB charging cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  2. Connect the flight battery (3.8V 800mAh) to the charging cable.
  3. The charging indicator light on the USB cable will illuminate during charging.
  4. Charging typically takes approximately 120 minutes. The indicator light will change or turn off once charging is complete.
  5. Always disconnect the battery from the charger once fully charged.

5.2 Installing Batteries

5.2.1 Helicopter Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the helicopter.
  2. Carefully insert the charged 3.8V 800mAh battery into the compartment.
  3. Connect the battery connector to the helicopter's power port. Ensure the connection is secure.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover.

5.2.2 Remote Control Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Insert the required batteries (typically AA, refer to remote control markings) into the compartment, observing correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery cover securely.

5.3 Pairing the Remote Control

  1. Ensure the helicopter's battery is connected and the helicopter is placed on a flat, level surface.
  2. Turn on the helicopter's power switch. The indicator light on the helicopter will flash.
  3. Turn on the remote control's power switch. The remote control's indicator light will flash.
  4. Push the throttle stick (left stick) fully up, then pull it fully down.
  5. The indicator lights on both the helicopter and the remote control will become solid, indicating successful pairing.
  6. If pairing fails, turn off both devices and repeat the steps.

6. Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the remote control functions before attempting flight.

6.1 Basic Controls

  • Throttle Stick (Left Stick, vertical): Controls altitude. Push up to ascend, pull down to descend.
  • Rudder (Left Stick, horizontal): Controls yaw (rotation around vertical axis). Push left to rotate left, push right to rotate right.
  • Elevator (Right Stick, vertical): Controls pitch (forward/backward movement). Push up to move forward, pull down to move backward.
  • Aileron (Right Stick, horizontal): Controls roll (left/right side flight). Push left to fly left, push right to fly right.

6.2 One-Key Take-off and Landing

  • After pairing, place the helicopter on a flat surface.
  • Press the 'One-Key Take-off' button on the remote control. The helicopter will automatically ascend to a stable hovering altitude.
  • To land, press the 'One-Key Landing' button. The helicopter will slowly descend and land automatically.

6.3 6G Mode Flight

The 6G mode utilizes a 6-axis gyroscope to provide enhanced stability, making it ideal for beginners. In this mode, the helicopter will automatically maintain a stable flight attitude, simplifying control inputs.

6.4 Signal Loss & Crash Prevention Function

If the remote control signal becomes abnormal or is lost, the helicopter will automatically maintain its current altitude for 2 seconds. After this period, it will initiate a slow, controlled descent to land safely. If the signal is re-established within the controllable range before landing, you can regain control by restarting the remote control and moving the throttle stick up and down to reconnect.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the helicopter. Do not use solvents or harsh chemicals.
  • Propeller Inspection: Regularly check propellers for damage (cracks, bends). Replace any damaged propellers immediately using the provided spare parts and screwdriver.
  • Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not overcharge or over-discharge batteries. Disconnect batteries from the helicopter and charger when not in use.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries from both the helicopter and the remote control. Store the helicopter in a safe place to prevent damage.

8. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Helicopter does not respond to remote control. Not paired; low battery in remote or helicopter; out of range.Re-pair the helicopter and remote. Charge/replace batteries. Ensure helicopter is within operating range (80-100m).
Helicopter cannot take off or flies weakly.Low helicopter battery; damaged propellers; motor issue.Fully charge the flight battery. Check and replace damaged propellers. Contact support if motor issue is suspected.
Helicopter drifts during flight.Trim settings incorrect; strong wind; gyroscope calibration needed.Adjust trim buttons on the remote control. Fly in calm conditions. Ensure helicopter is placed on a flat surface during power-on for gyroscope calibration.
Short flight time.Battery not fully charged; aging battery.Ensure battery is fully charged. Consider replacing the battery if it's old or damaged.
