3. Setup

3.1 Power Connection

The CATIGA SP-2401 calculator is powered by an A/C cord. Connect the provided A/C adapter to the power input port on the calculator and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the "OFF" position before connecting or disconnecting power.

3.2 Loading Thermal Paper

  1. Ensure the calculator is turned off.
  2. Open the paper roll cover, typically located at the top rear of the calculator.
  3. Place a new roll of thermal paper into the compartment, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom of the roll towards the front of the calculator.
  4. Feed the leading edge of the paper into the printer mechanism slot until it catches and begins to feed automatically.
  5. Close the paper roll cover.
  6. Press the FEED button to advance the paper and confirm proper loading.
