3. Product Overview
The GMKtec K10 Mini PC Workstation is a compact yet powerful computing solution designed for demanding tasks, multitasking, and professional applications. It features a robust cooling system and versatile connectivity options.
3.1 Key Features
- Powerful Processor: 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900HK CPU (14 Cores/20 Threads, up to 5.4 GHz).
- High-Speed Memory & Storage: 32GB DDR5 5600 MHz RAM and 1TB PCIe X4 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD, expandable up to 12TB.

4. Setup Guide
4.1 Initial Connection
- Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC IN port on the Mini PC and then into a power outlet.
- Connect Display: Use the provided HDMI cable to connect your monitor to one of the HDMI ports on the Mini PC. For 8K resolution, use the DisplayPort or Type-C port.
- Connect Peripherals: Plug in your keyboard, mouse, and any other USB devices into the available USB ports.
- Connect WiFi Antennas: Screw the two WiFi antennas into their respective ports on the back of the Mini PC.
- Network Connection (Optional): For a wired connection, connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the 2.5G RJ45 port.
4.2 Power On
Press the power button located on the front of the Mini PC. The power indicator light will illuminate, and the system will begin to boot up.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Operating System
Your GMKtec K10 Mini PC comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro. Follow the on-screen prompts for initial Windows setup, including language, region, and network configuration.
5.2 Multi-Display Setup
The K10 Mini PC supports up to four displays simultaneously. Connect additional monitors to the available HDMI, DisplayPort, and Type-C (DP/Data) ports. Configure display settings within the Windows operating system (Right-click on desktop > Display settings).

5.3 Power Modes
The K10 Mini PC offers various power modes to optimize performance and power consumption:

6. Maintenance
6.1 Storage Expansion
The K10 Mini PC supports up to 3x M.2 2280 PCIE slots and up to 12TB of storage (3 * 4TB). It also supports dual-channel DDR5 SO-DIMM memory up to 96GB.

6.2 Thermal Paste Replacement
Regular maintenance of the thermal paste can help maintain optimal CPU temperatures and system performance. The K10 Mini PC is designed for easy access to the CPU heatsink for thermal paste replacement.

6.3 Cooling System
The K10 Mini PC features a large super cooling fan system with a heat dissipation copper plate, dual D8 heat pipes, and an aluminum plate bracket with 6W thermal conductive silicone to ensure efficient heat management.

7. Troubleshooting
7.1 No Power
- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the Mini PC and a working power outlet.
- Check if the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
- Verify that the power button is pressed firmly.
7.2 No Display Output
- Confirm that the HDMI/DisplayPort/Type-C cable is securely connected to both the Mini PC and the monitor.
- Ensure the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source.
- Try a different display cable or monitor if available.
7.3 System Slowdown or Overheating
- Ensure the Mini PC is placed in a well-ventilated area, away from obstructions.
- Check for excessive dust buildup in the vents and clean them if necessary.
- Consider adjusting the power mode to 'Silent' or 'Normal' if continuous high performance is not required.
- If issues persist, consider thermal paste replacement as described in Section 6.2.
7.4 Peripheral Not Recognized
- Try connecting the peripheral to a different USB port.
- Ensure the peripheral's drivers are installed and up to date.
- Restart the Mini PC.
