3.2 Initial Synchronization
After battery insertion, the clock will automatically search for the DCF radio signal. The hands will move to the 12 o'clock position and then adjust to the correct time. This process may take several minutes, especially if the signal is weak. Ensure the clock is placed in an area with good reception, away from strong electromagnetic interference.
3.3 Mounting
The clock is designed for wall mounting. Use a suitable screw or hook (not included) in your desired outdoor location. Ensure the mounting point is secure and can support the weight of the clock.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Time Display
Once synchronized, the clock will continuously display the precise time. The DCF signal ensures automatic adjustment for seasonal time changes (Daylight Saving Time).
4.2 Temperature Display
The integrated thermometer provides a real-time reading of the ambient outdoor temperature. No manual adjustment is required for the thermometer.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the AA/LR6 battery annually or when the clock stops functioning. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
- Splash Protection: While the clock is splash-proof, avoid submerging it in water or exposing it to direct, high-pressure water jets.
6. Troubleshooting
- Clock not setting time:
- Ensure the battery is correctly inserted and has sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- Move the clock to a different location, preferably near a window or an open area, to improve DCF signal reception.
- Allow up to 24 hours for the clock to receive the signal and set the time, especially after initial setup or battery change.
- Hands are stuck or moving erratically:
- Replace the battery with a fresh one.
- Check for any obstructions preventing the hands from moving freely.
- Thermometer not accurate:
- Ensure the clock is not exposed to direct sunlight or other heat sources that could affect the reading.
- Allow some time for the thermometer to adjust to the ambient temperature after placement.
