4. Operating Instructions (How to Play)

Spy Guy Pyramid is a cooperative game where all players work together to achieve a common goal: catching Dr. Moritz and recovering the ancient treasures before he escapes.

Game Objective:

Players must collectively find all the necessary clues to track down Dr. Moritz. If Dr. Moritz reaches the last field on the board before all clues are found, he steals the treasure and flees, and the players lose. If players find all clues and catch Dr. Moritz, they win.

Gameplay Overview:

  1. Draw a Clue Card: At the start of each round, a player draws a Clue Card. This card shows an item that needs to be found on the game board.
  2. Search for Clues: All players simultaneously search the game board for the item depicted on the drawn Clue Card. The spatial board has movable elements that may reveal or hide clues, requiring players to manipulate them (e.g., 'look inside', 'turn the element', 'check on the other side').
  3. Use the Hourglass: The hourglass is used to time the search. Players must find the clue before the sand runs out.
  4. Mark Found Clues: Once a clue is found, a Clue Marker is placed on it. The Clue Card also indicates how many spaces Dr. Moritz moves forward.
  5. Move Spy Guy and Dr. Moritz: For each clue found, Spy Guy moves one field forward on his track. Dr. Moritz moves a number of fields indicated on the Clue Card.
  6. Pyramid Tokens: Utilize the 6 Pyramid Tokens to assist in your search or to gain advantages.
