3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for safe and proper installation of your recessed light.

Pre-Installation:

1. Turn off power: Ensure the power supply to the installation area is completely disconnected at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
2. Prepare the opening: Use the provided template to mark the desired location for the light. The advised hole cutout size is 4.17 inches. Cut the hole carefully using an appropriate tool.

Installation Steps:

1. Cut a Hole: Using the provided template, cut a 4.17-inch diameter hole in the ceiling at the desired location.
2. Connect Wiring: Open the junction box cover. Connect the household electrical wires (live, neutral, ground) to the corresponding wires inside the junction box using appropriate wire connectors. Ensure secure connections. Close the junction box cover.
3. Select Color Temperature: Before mounting, locate the 5CCT switch on the side of the junction box. Slide the switch to your desired color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K).
4. Connect Light Panel: Connect the cable from the recessed light panel to the junction box. Ensure the connection is firm.
5. Mount Light: Gently push the spring clips on the light panel upwards and insert the light into the ceiling hole. The clips will secure the light in place.
6. Restore Power: Once installation is complete, restore power at the circuit breaker.

Color Temperature Selection:

The Amico recessed light offers five color temperature options to suit different ambiances. The selection switch is located on the side of the junction box. Adjust this switch before mounting the light into the ceiling.

• 4000K: Cool White, often used in kitchens.

Dimming Function:

This light is designed for smooth dimming from 5% to 100% brightness. It is compatible with most standard LED dimmers on the market. Note: This light is not compatible with smart dimmers.
