1. Introduction

The LEFANT M310 Robot Vacuum Cleaner is designed to provide efficient and intelligent cleaning for your home. Featuring advanced obstacle avoidance technology, powerful suction, and smart control options, it simplifies your cleaning routine.

2. Setup and Initial Use

2.1 Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all protective films and packing materials are removed from the robot and charging base.

• Place the charging base against a wall on a hard, level surface.
• Ensure there is at least 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) of clear space on either side of the charging base and 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) in front of it.
• Connect the power adapter to the charging base and plug it into a wall outlet.

2.2 Charging the Robot

Place the robot vacuum onto the charging base, ensuring the charging contacts align. The indicator light on the robot will show charging status. For first use, fully charge the robot (approximately 4-5 hours).

2.3 App Connection (Lefant App)

To unlock the full features of your M310, download and connect to the Lefant App.

1. Press the start button on the robot for 3 seconds to power it on.
2. Download the "Lefant Life" App from your mobile app store. You can also scan the QR code in the manual or visit mobile.useerobot.com.
3. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your device.
4. Press and hold the start button on the robot for 6 seconds until the light flashes to enter pairing mode.
5. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The M310 is only compatible with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
6. Confirm your Wi-Fi password in the app and wait for the connection to complete.

2.4 Voice Assistant Integration (Alexa/Google Assistant)

You can control your M310 using voice commands through Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

1. Connect Alexa/Google Assistant to the internet and pair it with your Lefant account.
2. Open the Lefant App, go to "Me", then find "Google Assistant/Alexa".
3. Select "Alexa" or "Google Assistant" and choose "One-click Pairing".
4. Sign in to your Amazon account (for Alexa) or Google account (for Google Assistant), click "LINK", then "Back".
5. Alexa/Google Assistant should now be successfully paired.
6. You can open the Alexa/Google Home app to view your paired devices under "Devices".

2.5 Apple Watch Control

Control your Lefant robot directly from your Apple Watch.

1. Download the Lefant App and the Lefant Watch App on your mobile phone.
2. Pair the Lefant App with your Apple Watch.
3. Select the Lefant App on your Apple Watch.
4. You will be prompted to open the Lefant App on your phone and log in.
5. Once logged in, connect your Lefant robot.
6. Return to your Apple Watch, where you can now control your robot.

3. Operating the Robot Vacuum

3.1 Cleaning Modes

The LEFANT M310 offers various cleaning modes to suit your needs:

• Zigzag Cleaning: The robot cleans in an efficient zigzag pattern, covering the entire area systematically.
• Edge Cleaning: The robot cleans along walls and furniture edges to ensure thorough cleaning of corners and perimeters.
• Automatic Cleaning: The robot intelligently navigates and cleans your home, adapting to different floor types and obstacles.
• Spot Cleaning: For concentrated dirt, the robot cleans a specific area in a spiral pattern.
• Manual Control: Use the app or remote control to direct the robot manually.

3.2 Obstacle Avoidance

The M310 features advanced PSD obstacle avoidance technology, allowing it to detect and navigate around objects as thin as 4cm, protecting your furniture and belongings.

3.3 Anti-Tangle Design

With its brushless motor and dual side brushes, the M310 is designed to prevent hair tangles, making it ideal for homes with pets.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your LEFANT M310.

4.1 Dustbin and Filter Cleaning

The M310 features a large 550ml dustbin and an integrated filter system. It is recommended to empty the dustbin after each cleaning cycle, especially in homes with pets.

1. Press the release button to remove the dustbin from the robot.
2. Open the dustbin lid and empty its contents into a trash can.
3. Remove the HEPA filter and metal pre-filter. The metal filter can be washed with water, but the HEPA filter should not be washed.
4. Clean the HEPA filter using the provided cleaning brush to remove dust and debris.
5. Allow the washable components to air dry completely before reassembling.
6. Reinsert the filters and close the dustbin, then place it back into the robot.

4.2 Side Brush Cleaning

Inspect the side brushes regularly for tangled hair or debris. Carefully pull off any tangled hair or use scissors if necessary. Replace brushes if they are worn or damaged.

4.3 Sensor Cleaning

Wipe the sensors on the robot with a clean, dry cloth to ensure they function correctly and maintain optimal obstacle avoidance.
