The Electactic AP4416-UL combines air purification and ultrasonic humidification into a single unit, designed to improve indoor air quality and comfort. It features a multi-stage filtration system and intelligent humidity control.
2. Safety Instructions
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, observe the following safety precautions:
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning, performing maintenance, or when not in use.
- Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord or plug is damaged, contact customer support.
- Do not use the appliance in wet environments such as bathrooms or laundries.
- Keep the appliance away from heat sources, direct sunlight, and flammable materials.
- Ensure the air inlets and outlets are not blocked.
- Do not insert foreign objects into the appliance.
- Use only clean, distilled water in the humidifier tank to prevent mineral buildup and ensure optimal performance.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
3. Product Overview
3.1 Components
The Electactic AP4416-UL consists of the following main components:

3.2 Control Panel and Display
The unit features a touch control panel for easy operation and a digital display for status indication.

- ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
- Speed Button: Adjusts fan speed for air purification.
- Humidification Button: Activates or deactivates the humidification function and adjusts mist output.
- Timer Button: Sets the operating timer (e.g., 1-8 hours).
- Night Light Button: Controls the night light feature.
- AQI Light: Indicates air quality (e.g., green for good, yellow for moderate, red for poor).
- Content Display: Shows current settings, humidity levels, or error codes.
- Replacing Filter Alarm: Illuminates when the air filter needs replacement.
- Water Shortage Alarm: Illuminates when the humidifier water tank is low.
4. Setup
- Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the air purifier and humidifier from its packaging. Remove any protective films or tapes.
- Remove Filter Packaging:
- Locate the filter compartment cover on the side of the air purifier base.
- Open the cover and remove the air filter, which is typically sealed in a plastic bag.
- Remove the plastic packaging from the filter.
- Install Filter: Insert the unwrapped filter back into the compartment, ensuring it is seated correctly. Close the filter compartment cover securely.
- Place the Unit: Position the appliance on a firm, level surface, ensuring adequate space around it for proper air circulation (at least 6 inches from walls or furniture).
- Fill Water Tank (for Humidification):
- Remove the top cover of the humidifier tank.
- Pour clean, distilled water directly into the tank. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Replace the top cover securely.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operation
5.1 Power On/Off
- Touch the ON/OFF button to turn the unit on. The display will illuminate, and the air purification function will start.
- Touch the ON/OFF button again to turn the unit off.
5.2 Air Purification
The unit features a 3-stage filtration system:
- Pre-filter: Captures large particles like dust, lint, and pet hair.
- H13 HEPA Filter: Traps 99.98% of airborne contaminants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust mites, and smoke particles.
- Activated Carbon Filter: Absorbs odors, pet dander, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

5.3 Fan Speed Adjustment
- Touch the Speed button repeatedly to cycle through different fan speed settings (e.g., Low, Medium, High).
- Higher speeds provide faster air purification but may result in increased noise levels.
5.4 Humidification Function
- Touch the Humidification button to activate the humidification function.
- Touch the button again to adjust the mist output level or turn off humidification.
- The unit will automatically stop humidifying if the water level is too low, and the Water Shortage Alarm will illuminate.
5.5 Smart Auto Mode
The unit is equipped with a VOC sensor and a humidity sensor to automatically adjust operation based on environmental conditions.

- In Auto Mode, the fan speed will adjust automatically based on detected air quality (VOC levels).
- The built-in humidity sensor helps maintain balanced moisture levels by adjusting humidification output.
- The AQI light changes color to indicate current air quality:
- Green: Good air quality
- Yellow: Moderate air quality
- Red: Poor air quality
5.6 Night Mode
For undisturbed sleep, activate Night Mode.

- Touch the Night Light button to dim the display lights and reduce fan speed to its lowest, quietest setting (approximately 23dB).
- This mode ensures minimal disturbance during sleep while continuing air purification and humidification.
5.7 Timer Function
- Touch the Timer button to set the desired operating duration (e.g., 1, 2, 4, 8 hours).
- The unit will automatically turn off after the set time has elapsed.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your appliance.
6.1 Air Filter Replacement
The air filter should be replaced approximately every six months, depending on usage and air quality. The Replacing Filter Alarm will illuminate when replacement is due.
- Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
- Open the filter compartment cover.
- Remove the old filter and dispose of it properly.
- Insert a new Electactic AP4416-UL replacement filter (ensure it is unwrapped).
- Close the filter compartment cover securely.
- Plug in the appliance. Press and hold the "Replacing Filter Alarm" button (or corresponding reset button) for 3-5 seconds to reset the filter life indicator.
Note: Replacement filters can be purchased from authorized Electactic retailers or the official website.
6.2 Humidifier Tank Cleaning
Clean the humidifier tank regularly to prevent mineral buildup and bacterial growth.
- Unplug the appliance.
- Remove the humidifier tank from the unit.
- Empty any remaining water.
- Wipe the inside of the tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn mineral deposits, use a solution of white vinegar and water, let it soak, then rinse thoroughly.
- Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water to remove all detergent or vinegar residue.
- Dry the tank before refilling and placing it back on the unit.
6.3 Exterior Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior surfaces of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
7. Troubleshooting
