Setup
1. Battery Installation and Charging
The UV-25 PLUS comes with a 5200mAh high-capacity Li-ion battery. To install, align the battery with the back of the radio and slide it into place until it clicks securely. To charge, connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the radio's USB-C port and plug the adapter into a power outlet. The radio supports various charging methods including wall charging, power bank charging, and car charging.
2. Antenna Installation
Screw the desired antenna (Gooseneck or High-Gain) clockwise onto the antenna connector at the top of the radio until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.
