Important: This unit is not compatible with Audi A4 or A5 models, nor with Audi Q5 models featuring the 2G MMI system.

Setup and Installation

Operating Instructions

Switching Between Systems

The unit allows seamless switching between the new CarPlay/Android Auto system and your car's original MMI system.

  • To switch to the original MMI system, click the "OEM" button on the homescreen menu of the new display.
  • To return to the Linux system (CarPlay/Android Auto), simply touch the screen.

Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto

Connect your smartphone wirelessly or via a wired connection to access navigation, make calls, send/receive messages, and enjoy music directly on the 12.3-inch touchscreen. Voice control is supported for both Apple CarPlay (Siri) and Android Auto (Google Assistant).

Mirrorlink

The Mirrorlink function allows you to duplicate your smartphone's screen onto the larger 12.3-inch display. This is useful for viewing movies, maps, photos, and other content.
