Introduction

Setup

Follow these steps to set up your iRobot Roomba Plus 505 Combo Robot Vacuum & Mop:

1. Unpack the Robot and Dock: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all protective films and inserts are removed from the robot and the AutoWash Dock.
2. Place the AutoWash Dock: Position the dock on a hard, level surface against a wall, ensuring there is at least 1.5 feet (0.5 meters) of clear space on either side and 5 feet (1.5 meters) in front. Plug the dock into a power outlet.
3. Install Mop Pads: Attach the DualClean Mop Pads to the bottom of the robot. Ensure they are securely fastened.
4. Fill the Clean Water Tank: Remove the clean water tank from the dock, fill it with clean water (and approved cleaning solution if desired), and reinsert it into the dock.
5. Place the Robot on the Dock: Gently place the Roomba robot onto the AutoWash Dock. It will automatically align and begin charging.
6. Download the Roomba Home App: Scan the QR code on the packaging or search for "Roomba Home" in your device's app store (available on Apple App Store and Google Play). Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot to your Wi-Fi network and complete the initial setup.

Maintenance
