Setup
1. Charging the Earbuds and Case
Before first use, fully charge your JBL Vibe Beam earbuds and charging case. The charging case provides additional battery life for your earbuds.
- Place the earbuds into the charging case.
- Connect the Type-C to Type-A charging cable to the charging case and a power source.
- The LED indicator on the case will show charging status (Red for low, Orange for medium, Green for high).
- A 10-minute speed charge provides approximately 2 hours of playtime.
- The case with earbuds will be fully charged in approximately 2 hours.

2. Initial Pairing with a Device
To connect your JBL Vibe Beam earbuds to a new Bluetooth device:
- Ensure the earbuds are charged and placed inside the charging case.
- Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing blue LED on the earbuds.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
- Select "JBL Vibe Beam" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the LED indicator on the earbuds will turn solid blue.

Operating Your Earbuds
Touch Controls
The JBL Vibe Beam earbuds feature intuitive touch controls on each earbud. These controls allow you to manage various functions without needing to access your connected device.
- Play/Pause: Single tap on either earbud.
- Next Track: Double tap on the right earbud.
- Previous Track: Triple tap on the right earbud.
- Volume Up: Single tap on the left earbud.
- Volume Down: Double tap on the left earbud.
- Answer/End Call: Single tap on either earbud.
- Reject Call: Press and hold on either earbud.
- Activate Voice Assistant (Siri, Google Assistant, Bixby): Triple tap on the left earbud.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your JBL Vibe Beam earbuds.
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and inside the charging case using a dry, soft cotton swab to ensure proper charging.
- Eartips: Remove and clean the silicone eartips with water and mild soap. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
- Storage: When not in use, always store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them from dust, moisture, and physical damage.
- Water and Dust Resistance: While the earbuds are IP54-rated and the case is IPX2-rated, they are not waterproof. Avoid submerging them in water or exposing them to heavy rain. Dry them thoroughly if they get wet.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your JBL Vibe Beam earbuds, try the following steps:
- No Sound/Intermittent Audio:
- Ensure earbuds are charged.
- Check Bluetooth connection on your device. Try disconnecting and reconnecting.
- Move closer to your device to avoid interference.
- Try playing audio from a different app or source.
- Pairing Issues:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the earbuds are in pairing mode (flashing blue LED).
- Forget "JBL Vibe Beam" from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
- If connecting to a new device, ensure the earbuds are disconnected from any previous devices.
- Factory Reset:
If other troubleshooting steps fail, you can perform a factory reset:
- Place both earbuds back into the charging case.
- Open the charging case.
- On one earbud, tap 3 times and then press and hold on the third tap for 5 seconds. You should hear a power off sound and see a light flashing.
- Repeat for the other earbud.
- Place both earbuds back into the case and close it.
- Open the case again and try to pair them with your device.
