4. Setup Guide

4.1 Installing the Receiver

1. Plug each receiver into a standard electrical outlet in your desired locations. For optimal coverage, place one receiver in a central area like the living room and another in a bedroom or office.
2. Ensure the outlets are easily accessible and not obstructed.

4.2 Installing the Transmitter (Doorbell Button)

There are two methods for mounting the doorbell button:

1. Adhesive Mounting:
   • Clean the desired mounting surface thoroughly to ensure it is dry and free of dust or grease.
   • Peel off one side of the double-sided adhesive tape and apply it firmly to the back of the doorbell button.
   • Peel off the other side of the tape and press the doorbell button firmly onto the cleaned surface for at least 30 seconds.
2. Screw Mounting:
   • Open the doorbell button casing to reveal the mounting holes.
   • Mark the positions for drilling on the wall.
   • Drill holes and insert the provided anchors.
   • Secure the doorbell button to the wall using the provided screws.
   • Close the casing securely.

It is recommended to install the doorbell button at a height of approximately 1.2 to 1.5 meters (4 to 5 feet) from the ground for easy access.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Changing Melodies

To change the melody:

1. Press the 'Melody Selection' button on the side of the receiver to cycle through the 60 available tunes.
2. A single quick press advances to the next melody.
3. Two quick presses will go back to the previous melody.
4. Once you hear a melody you like, stop pressing, and it will be set.

5.2 Adjusting Volume

To adjust the volume level:

1. Press the 'Volume Control' button on the side of the receiver.
2. Each press will cycle through the 5 volume levels (0 dB to 120 dB).
3. The 0 dB setting activates silent mode, where only the LED indicator flashes.

5.3 Pairing Additional Transmitters/Receivers (If Applicable)

Your kit comes pre-paired. If you need to pair additional components or re-pair existing ones:

1. Plug in the receiver.
2. Press and hold the 'Volume Control' button on the receiver for approximately 5 seconds until you hear a 'ding' sound and the LED indicator flashes rapidly. The receiver is now in pairing mode.
3. Immediately press the doorbell transmitter button. The receiver will chime, indicating successful pairing.
4. Test the pairing by pressing the transmitter button again.

5.4 Using USB Charging Ports

Each receiver is equipped with USB charging ports. Simply plug your USB charging cables into these ports to charge compatible devices like smartphones or smartwatches.

• Cleaning: Wipe the doorbell transmitter and receivers with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
