3.2 Charging the Device

The Nulea M512 trackball mouse comes with a built-in rechargeable battery.

1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the front of the trackball mouse.
2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
3. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

3.3 Connecting to Devices

The M512 supports connection to up to three devices using either 2.4GHz wireless or Bluetooth.

3.3.1 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

1. Locate the 2.4GHz USB receiver, which is conveniently stored in a compartment at the bottom of the trackball mouse.
2. Remove the USB receiver and plug it into an available USB port on your computer.
3. Turn on the trackball mouse using the power switch (usually located on the bottom or side).
4. Press the mode switch button on the side of the mouse until the indicator light for the 2.4GHz USB channel (often labeled "USB" or similar) illuminates. The mouse should automatically connect.

3.3.2 Bluetooth Connection (BT1 / BT2)

The M512 supports two independent Bluetooth connections.

1. Turn on the trackball mouse.
2. Press the mode switch button on the side of the mouse to select either BT1 or BT2 channel. The corresponding indicator light will flash slowly.
3. To enter pairing mode, press and hold the mode switch button for approximately 3-5 seconds until the selected Bluetooth indicator light flashes rapidly.
4. On your device (computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone), go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
5. Select "Nulea M512" (or similar name) from the list of available devices to pair.
6. Once paired, the indicator light on the mouse will stop flashing and remain solid.

4. Operation

4.1 Button Functions

The Nulea M512 features an adaptive 4-button layout and two scroll wheels.

• Trackball: Use your fingers to move the cursor on the screen.
• Middle Key (Top-Left Button): Functions as a scroll button for smooth page navigation.
• Back Key (Top-Right Button): Acts as a quick-access back button in web browsers and applications.
• Left Button (Bottom-Left): Standard left-click function.
• Right Button (Bottom-Right): Standard right-click function.
• Left Scroll Wheel: For vertical scrolling.

4.3 Switching Hand Modes (Ambidextrous Design)

The M512 is designed for both left and right-handed users.

• Press the Left/Right Hand Mode Switch Key (located on the side of the mouse) to toggle between left-handed and right-handed configurations.
• When switched, the functions of the main buttons (Left, Right, Middle, Back) will automatically swap to align with your dominant hand.

4.4 Switching Between Connected Devices

To switch between devices connected via 2.4GHz USB, BT1, or BT2:

• Simply press the Mode Switch Key on the side of the mouse.
• Each press will cycle to the next available connection channel (2.4GHz USB → BT1 → BT2 → 2.4GHz USB).
• The corresponding indicator light will show which channel is active.

4.5 Drag-Hold Function

The M512 includes a drag-hold function for convenience.

• To activate drag-hold, press the Middle Key and Back Key simultaneously.
• To exit drag-hold, press any of the four main buttons (Middle Key, Back Key, Left Button, Right Button).

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Trackball

Over time, dust and debris can accumulate around the trackball, affecting its smooth operation. Regular cleaning is recommended.

1. Turn off the trackball mouse.
2. Gently push the trackball out from the bottom of the mouse.
3. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the trackball clean.
4. Use a cotton swab or compressed air to clean the optical sensors and the trackball cavity inside the mouse.
5. Reinsert the trackball into its socket.
6. Turn on the mouse and test its movement.

5.2 Battery Care

• Charge the device using the provided USB-C cable and a compatible power source.
• Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures.
• If the mouse will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to fully charge it and then store it in a cool, dry place.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Device Not Connecting

• Check Power: Ensure the mouse is turned on and has sufficient battery charge.
• Correct Mode: Verify that the correct connection mode (2.4GHz USB, BT1, or BT2) is selected using the mode switch button.
• 2.4GHz Connection: Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port.
• Bluetooth Connection:

  • On your device, remove any previous pairings of the M512 and attempt to pair again.
  • Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled.
