Setup Guide
- Prepare the Filter:
Rinse the multi-layer filter and pump sponge thoroughly under running water for several minutes to remove any loose carbon particles. This ensures optimal filtration from the first use.

- Assemble the Pump and Filter:
Place the pump sponge into its designated slot in the filter tray. Then, insert the rinsed multi-layer filter into the filter tray. Ensure the wireless pump module is securely attached to the filter tray.
- Fill the Basin with Water:
Place the assembled filter tray with the pump module into the stainless steel basin. Fill the basin with clean water, ensuring the water level is between the MIN and MAX marks visible through the transparent window.

- Power On and Select Mode:
Press the power button on the pump module to turn on the fountain. Cycle through the available operating modes by pressing the mode selection button until your desired mode is active. Refer to the 'Operating Modes' section for details.

Operating Modes
The GOYJOY Cat Water Fountain offers three distinct operating modes to suit your pet's needs and conserve battery life:
- Sensor Mode (Recommended): The fountain activates and dispenses water for 15 seconds when a pet approaches within 2 meters (120° detection angle). This mode is efficient for battery usage.
- Timed Mode: The fountain activates and dispenses water for 15 seconds every 30 minutes. This provides regular access to fresh water without constant motion detection.
- Continuous Mode: Water flows continuously. This mode provides constant water circulation but will consume battery power more rapidly.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Fountain
Regular cleaning is essential to maintain water quality and prolong the life of your fountain. The 304 stainless steel basin is dishwasher safe for convenience.
- Disassemble all components: stainless steel basin, filter tray, pump module, filter, and pump sponge.
- Wash the stainless steel basin and filter tray with mild soap and water, or place them in the dishwasher.
- Clean the pump module and pump sponge separately. Do not put the pump module in the dishwasher. Use a soft brush to clean any debris from the pump's impeller.
- Rinse all components thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
- Reassemble the fountain once all parts are clean and dry.
Filter Replacement
The multi-layer filter should be replaced every 2-4 weeks, depending on the number of pets and water quality, to ensure optimal filtration.
- Turn off and unplug the fountain.
- Remove the filter tray and dispose of the old multi-layer filter.
- Rinse a new filter under running water for several minutes before placing it into the filter tray.
- Replace the pump sponge if it appears excessively dirty or worn.
- Reassemble the fountain and refill with fresh water.
