Maintenance

1. Waterproofing

The GoPro MAX is waterproof up to 16ft (5m) without additional housing. Ensure all doors are securely closed before exposing the camera to water.

2. Lens Care

The spherical lenses are delicate. Use the provided protective lens caps when not in use. Clean lenses with a microfiber cloth and appropriate lens cleaning solution. Avoid abrasive materials or excessive force, as the rounded glass is susceptible to scratches.

3. Battery Care

The Enduro Battery provides extended performance. When charging, especially during use, the camera may generate significant heat. Avoid charging in direct sunlight or enclosed spaces to prevent overheating.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your GoPro MAX, consider the following:

  • Camera Not Responding: Remove and reinsert the battery. If the issue persists, connect to a power source to check for charging.
  • Image Quality Issues: Ensure lenses are clean and free from scratches. Verify protective caps are removed during recording.
  • Overheating: Discontinue use and allow the camera to cool down. Avoid direct sunlight or enclosed environments during prolonged recording or charging.
  • Connectivity Problems: Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on both the camera and your mobile device. Restart both devices and try reconnecting via the GoPro Quik app.
