4.2 Placement

Proper placement is crucial for optimal performance:

  • Place the dehumidifier in the room where humidity is highest.

  • Maintain at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around all sides of the unit to allow for proper airflow. Do not place it against a wall or in a corner that obstructs airflow.
  • Close all doors and windows in the room to maximize dehumidification efficiency.
  • Avoid placing the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

4.3 Power Connection

  1. Ensure the water tank is correctly inserted into the unit.
  2. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the Power button on the control panel to turn the unit ON.
  • Press the Power button again to turn the unit OFF.

5.2 Mode Selection

The dehumidifier offers two operating modes:

  • Normal Mode: Standard dehumidification operation. The unit operates at its full capacity with a noise level below 35 dB.
  • Sleep Mode: For quieter operation, ideal for nighttime use. The noise level is reduced to below 28 dB.

To switch between modes, press the Mode button on the control panel.

5.3 Night Light Function

The dehumidifier includes an optional 7-color night light:

  • In Sleep Mode, you can activate or deactivate the night light by pressing the Light button (or the same button used for mode selection, depending on the model's specific controls).
  • The night light can create a relaxing ambiance without affecting dehumidification performance.

5.4 Emptying the Water Tank

The unit will automatically shut off when the 2.5-liter water tank is full. A red indicator light will illuminate.

  1. Turn off the dehumidifier and unplug it from the power outlet.
  2. Carefully pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
  3. Empty the collected water into a sink or drain.
  4. Rinse the water tank with clean water if necessary.
  5. Slide the empty water tank back into the unit until it clicks securely into place.
  6. Plug the dehumidifier back in and turn it on to resume operation.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

6.1 Cleaning the Exterior

  • Turn off and unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth.
