3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Battery

The SYDYAM R1 camera comes with two 2350mAh rechargeable batteries. One battery is typically pre-installed. Before first use, fully charge both batteries.

1. Insert a battery into the charging dock.
2. Connect the Type-C USB cable to the charging dock and a power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port).

The camera comes with two types of rotating clips for versatile attachment:

To attach a clip, align the clip's mounting mechanism with the slot on the back of the camera and slide it into place until it clicks securely. To remove, press the release button (if present) and slide the clip off.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the device shuts down.

4.2 Video Recording (4K Clarity)

The camera records true 4K video with a wide-angle lens and distortion correction for realistic images.

1. Ensure the camera is powered on.
2. Press the Video Record button once to start recording. A red indicator light will typically flash, and a recording icon will appear on the screen.
3. Press the Video Record button again to stop recording. The file will be saved automatically.

4.3 Audio Recording

The camera supports audio-only recording.
