1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Muddy Mitigator 2.0 Cellular Trail Camera. 3. Setup Guide

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Open the camera housing latch.
  2. Locate the 8-piece battery tray.
  3. Insert 16 AA batteries into the tray, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery tray and secure the camera housing latch.

3.2 SD Card Insertion

  1. With the camera housing open, locate the SD card slot.
  2. Insert one of the provided SD cards into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is oriented correctly.

3.3 Initial Power On and Network Activation

  1. Turn the camera's power switch to the ON position.
  2. The camera will automatically detect the best cellular carrier (AT&T or Verizon) using the pre-installed SIM cards.
  3. Follow on-screen prompts or refer to the Command PRO App for further activation steps.

3.4 Mounting the Camera

The Mitigator 2.0 features an integrated multi-position mount and a ¼-20 threaded insert for flexible mounting options.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Key Features

4.3 Capturing Images and Videos

The camera is designed to automatically capture images and videos when motion is detected within its 80ft range.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement

Monitor battery levels via the Command PRO App. Replace all 16 AA batteries when levels are low to ensure continuous operation. For extended power, a 12V DC auxiliary jack is available for external power packs (sold separately).

5.2 SD Card Management

Regularly check the SD card capacity. Format the SD card periodically to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Always power off the camera before removing or inserting an SD card.

5.3 Cleaning

Wipe the camera lens and housing with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt, dust, or moisture. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the camera is dry before closing the housing.
