3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to prepare your dehumidifier for first use.
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
- Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective films.
- Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.
3.2 Placement
- Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface in the desired room.
- Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of clear space around the air inlet and outlet for optimal performance.
- Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, in direct sunlight, or in areas with excessive dust.

3.3 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet meets the power requirements of the unit.
3.4 Continuous Drainage (Optional)
For continuous operation without emptying the water tank, you can connect a drainage hose (included) to the continuous drainage outlet. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage into a suitable receptacle or drain.
4. Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the control panel and operating modes.
4.1 Control Panel
The control panel is located on the top of the unit and features an LCD display and various buttons for settings.
- Power Button: Turns the unit ON/OFF.
- Mode Button: Cycles through operating modes (e.g., Dehumidify, Laundry Dry).
- Humidity Setting Buttons (+/-): Adjusts the desired humidity level.
- Timer Button: Sets the 24-hour programmable timer.
- Fan Speed Button: Adjusts fan speed (High/Low).
- Ionizer Button: Activates/deactivates the ionizer function.
4.2 Dehumidification Mode
- Press the Power button to turn on the unit.
- Press the Mode button until "Dehumidify" or a similar indicator is displayed.
- Use the Humidity Setting buttons (+/-) to set your desired humidity level (e.g., 50% - 60% is generally recommended for comfort). The unit will operate until this level is reached, then cycle on and off to maintain it.
- Adjust the Fan Speed if desired.
4.3 Laundry Drying Mode
This mode is optimized for drying clothes faster by maintaining a lower humidity level.
- Place the dehumidifier in the room with the drying laundry.
- Press the Mode button until "Laundry Dry" or a similar indicator is displayed. The unit will automatically target a humidity level of approximately 35%.
- Ensure the room is closed to maximize efficiency.
4.4 Timer Function
The 24-hour timer allows you to program the unit to turn ON or OFF automatically.
- To set Auto-OFF: While the unit is running, press the Timer button and use (+/-) to set the desired number of hours until shutdown.
- To set Auto-ON: While the unit is OFF, press the Timer button and use (+/-) to set the desired number of hours until startup.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.
5.1 Emptying the Water Tank
When the water tank is full, the unit will stop operating, and an audible/visual alert will activate.
- Gently pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
- Carefully empty the collected water.
- Slide the empty tank back into its position until it clicks securely. The unit will resume operation.
5.2 Cleaning the Air Filter
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Unplug the dehumidifier from the power outlet.
- Locate the air filter (usually behind the air inlet grille).
- Remove the filter.
- Clean the filter using a vacuum cleaner or wash it gently with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinstallation.
- Reinstall the dry filter and close the grille.
The unit is compatible with HEPA 11 & 13 filters (not included). Consult the manufacturer for compatible replacement filters.
5.3 Cleaning the Unit Exterior
Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions.
