5. Maintenance

5.1 Water Filtration

The spa's filtration system uses replaceable cartridges to keep the water clean. Regular cleaning and replacement of filter cartridges are essential for optimal performance and water quality.

  • Check and clean filter cartridges daily or every other day, depending on usage.
  • Replace filter cartridges every 2-4 weeks, or when they remain dirty after cleaning.
  • Always turn off the spa control unit before cleaning or replacing filters.

5.2 Water Treatment

Maintain proper water chemistry using spa chemicals (e.g., chlorine, bromine, pH adjusters) to prevent bacterial growth and ensure a safe bathing environment. Use test strips regularly to monitor water parameters.

5.3 Cleaning the Spa

  • Drain the spa completely and clean the interior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
  • Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry before refilling or storing.

5.4 Spa Cover Use

Always keep the insulated spa cover on when the spa is not in use. This helps to retain heat, reduce energy consumption, and keep debris out of the water.
