Setup
1. Charging the Smartwatch
Before first use, fully charge your EKO Lumos Smartwatch. Connect the provided charging cable to the charging port on the back of the smartwatch and plug the other end into a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
The watch display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.
2. Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the side button until the EKO logo appears.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the side button, then select "Power Off" on the screen.
3. Installing the Companion App
The EKO Lumos Smartwatch requires a companion application to unlock its full functionality and synchronize data with your smartphone. Search for the official EKO smartwatch app on your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS).
Ensure your smartphone meets the minimum operating system requirements for the app.
4. Pairing with Your Smartphone (Bluetooth)
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Open the EKO companion app on your smartphone.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. The app will search for available EKO Lumos devices.
- Select "EKO Lumos" from the list of discovered devices.
- Confirm the pairing request on both your smartphone and the smartwatch if prompted.
Successful pairing will be indicated on both devices. Keep your smartwatch close to your smartphone during the pairing process.
Operating Your Smartwatch
Basic Navigation
- Touchscreen: Swipe left, right, up, or down to navigate through menus and features. Tap to select an item.
- Side Button: Press to return to the home screen or wake the device. Press and hold for power options.

Maintenance
Cleaning Your Smartwatch

Battery Care

Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and the smartwatch. Ensure the smartwatch is within range of your phone. Restart both devices and try the pairing process again. Verify that the EKO companion app is up to date.
- Inaccurate health readings:
Ensure the smartwatch is worn snugly on your wrist, not too tight or too loose. Clean the sensors on the back of the watch. Avoid excessive movement during measurements. Note that the smartwatch is not a medical device and readings are for reference only.
- Notifications not appearing:
Verify that notifications are enabled in both your smartphone's settings for the EKO app and within the EKO companion app itself. Ensure the smartwatch is connected via Bluetooth.
- Short battery life:
Reduce screen brightness, disable unnecessary notifications, and limit continuous heart rate monitoring if not required. Ensure the device is fully charged each time.
