Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or toaster in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.

- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
- Oversize foods, metal foil packages, or utensils must not be inserted in a toaster as they may create a fire or risk of electric shock.
- A fire may occur if toasters are covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation.
- Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is plugged in.
- Do not operate unattended.
- Do not use with food that has been spread with butter, jelly, or jam.

Setup
- Unpack the toaster and remove all packaging materials.
- Place the toaster on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials.
- Ensure the crumb tray is properly inserted into the back of the toaster.
- Unwind the power cord from the cord wrap located underneath the unit.
- Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
- Before first use, operate the toaster without bread on the highest setting (6) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal.
- Allow the toaster to cool completely before its first actual use with food.
Operating Instructions
General Toasting
- Insert slices of bread or other items into the toasting slots.
- Use the +/- buttons on the LED display to select your desired shade setting (1-6). Setting 1 is the lightest, 6 is the darkest.
- Press the high-lift lever down until it locks into place. The toaster will begin toasting, and the digital countdown timer will display the remaining time.
- When the toasting cycle is complete, the toast will automatically pop up.
- If the toast is not done to your preference, you can lower the lever again for a short additional cycle, or use the Reheat function.
Special Functions
- Bagel Function: Insert bagels into the slots. Select your desired shade setting. Press the BAGEL button. The indicator light for Bagel will illuminate. Press the high-lift lever down. This function toasts the cut side of the bagel while gently warming the outer side.
- Defrost Function: Insert frozen bread into the slots. Select your desired shade setting. Press the DEFROST button. The indicator light for Defrost will illuminate. Press the high-lift lever down. This function thaws and then toasts frozen items.
- Reheat Function: Insert already toasted but cooled bread into the slots. Press the REHEAT button. The indicator light for Reheat will illuminate. Press the high-lift lever down. This function warms toast without further browning.
- Cancel Function: To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the CANCEL button. The toast will immediately pop up.
Digital Countdown Timer
The integrated digital countdown timer on the LED display shows the remaining time for the current toasting cycle. This allows you to monitor the progress of your toast and plan your meal accordingly.
Maintenance & Cleaning
Always unplug the toaster from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
Cleaning the Crumb Tray
- Locate the removable crumb tray at the back of the toaster.
- Pull the tray out to remove it.
- Discard accumulated crumbs.
- Wipe the tray clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Slide the crumb tray back into the toaster until it locks securely.
Note: For thorough cleaning, you may also gently shake the toaster upside down over a trash can to remove any crumbs that may have fallen outside the tray.
Cleaning the Exterior
- Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as these can scratch the surface.
- Ensure the toaster is completely dry before plugging it back in or storing.
Troubleshooting
