  3. Installing the Fixed Bow Roller: Attach the fixed bow roller to the bow of your pontoon, ensuring it is robustly secured and aligned with the winch unit for smooth rope and chain passage. The stainless steel construction and durable Delrin® rollers are designed for longevity.

Operating Instructions

The Lewmar Venta Winch is designed for easy and convenient anchor deployment and retrieval using the included foot switch.

Deploying the Anchor

  1. Ensure the area around the bow is clear and safe for anchor deployment.
  2. Press and hold the 'DOWN' side of the foot switch. The winch will begin to pay out the rope and chain, deploying the anchor.
  3. Release the foot switch once the desired amount of rode has been deployed, or when the anchor has set.

Retrieving the Anchor

  1. Ensure the path of the rope and chain is clear.
  2. Press and hold the 'UP' side of the foot switch. The winch will begin to retrieve the rope and chain, pulling the anchor back towards the bow.
  3. Release the foot switch once the anchor is fully retrieved and secured in its stowed position. The durable Delrin® rollers on the bow roller ensure smooth retrieval.
