3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Battery
Before initial use, fully charge the camera's internal battery using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C cable to the camera and a standard USB power adapter (not included). A full charge takes approximately 10 hours.
3.2 Installing a Micro SD Card (Optional)
The camera supports local recording to a Micro SD card (up to 128 GB, not included). Locate the Micro SD card slot on the camera, insert the card with the contacts facing down until it clicks into place. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the card.
3.3 Mounting the Camera and Solar Panel
The camera and solar panel can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. Choose a location that provides a clear view of the area you wish to monitor and ensures the solar panel receives direct sunlight for optimal charging.
- Mark Drilling Points: Use the camera mount and solar panel mount as templates to mark the drilling points on your chosen surface.
- Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked points. Insert wall anchors if mounting into masonry or drywall.

- Attach Camera and Solar Panel: Attach the camera to its mount and the solar panel to its mount. Adjust the angles to achieve the desired coverage for the camera and maximum sun exposure for the solar panel.

3.4 App Installation and Pairing
- Download App: Download the "Tuyasmart" or "SmartLife" app from your mobile device's app store (iOS or Android).
- Create Account: Open the app and create a new account or log in if you already have one.
- Add Device: Tap the "+" icon or "Add Device" in the app. Select "Security Camera" or "Smart Camera" from the device list.
- Power On Camera: Ensure the camera is powered on and in pairing mode (usually indicated by a flashing LED light). Follow the in-app instructions to reset the camera if needed.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password in the app. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz networks are not supported).

Open the Tuyasmart or SmartLife app and select your camera from the device list to access the live video feed. You can view real-time footage from anywhere with an internet connection.
4.2 Two-Way Audio
While in live view, tap the microphone icon in the app to speak through the camera's speaker. Tap the speaker icon to listen to audio from the camera's microphone. This allows for communication with visitors or deterring intruders.

- No image or black screen in live view:
