3. Setup
3.1. Charging the Speaker
Before initial use, fully charge the speaker's internal Li-ion battery. A full charge typically takes approximately 3-4 hours.
- Connect the supplied AC power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the speaker.
- Plug the AC power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate, typically red, during charging. It will change color or turn off when charging is complete.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the AC power adapter.
3.2. Initial Power On
- Locate the Power/Volume rotary knob on the top panel of the speaker.
- Rotate the knob clockwise until you hear a click and the speaker powers on. The power indicator light will illuminate.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Bluetooth Pairing
To stream audio wirelessly, pair your device with the MX-RBT100 via Bluetooth.
- Ensure the speaker is powered on.
- Rotate the Source knob to select the Bluetooth input. The Bluetooth LED indicator will flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Search for available devices and select "MX-RBT100" from the list.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.
4.2. Auxiliary Input Connection
For devices without Bluetooth, use the 3.5mm auxiliary input.
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX IN port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your device.
- Rotate the Source knob on the speaker to select the AUX input.
- Play audio from your connected device.
4.3. Audio Playback and Controls
- Volume Control: Rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.
- Bass Control: Use the Bass rotary knob to adjust the low-frequency output.
- Treble Control: Use the Treble rotary knob to adjust the high-frequency output.
- Source Selection: Use the Source rotary knob to switch between Bluetooth and AUX input modes.
4.4. USB Charging Port
The speaker includes a USB port (5V/1A) for charging external devices.
- Connect your smartphone or other USB-powered device to the USB port on the speaker using a compatible USB cable (not included).
- The speaker must be powered on for the USB charging port to function.
