Setup and First Use
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and check for any damage. Ensure all accessories are present, including the portafilter and filter basket.
- Placement: Place the coffee machine on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from water sources and heat.
- Water Tank Filling: Remove the water tank from the back of the machine. Fill it with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line. Replace the tank securely.
- Initial Rinse Cycle: Before first use, perform a rinse cycle to clean the internal components.
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Place a large cup or container under the coffee spout.
- Plug in the machine and press the POWER button. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Once the machine is heated (indicator light stable), press the SINGLE or DOUBLE button to run water through the system without coffee. Repeat this process 2-3 times.
- Steam Wand Preparation: If using the steam wand, ensure it is clean and positioned over the drip tray during the rinse cycle to clear any residual water.

Operating Instructions
Making Espresso
- Fill Water Tank: Ensure the water tank is filled with fresh, cold water.
- Preheat: Plug in the machine and press the POWER button. Wait for the machine to heat up until the indicator light is stable.
- Prepare Portafilter: Add desired amount of finely ground coffee to the filter basket (single or double shot). Tamp the coffee evenly and firmly. Wipe any excess grounds from the rim.
- Attach Portafilter: Insert the portafilter into the group head and turn it firmly to the right until it is securely locked.
- Place Cup: Position your espresso cup(s) on the drip tray directly under the portafilter spouts.
- Brew Coffee: Press the SINGLE or DOUBLE button to start brewing. The machine will automatically stop when the programmed volume is dispensed. For manual control, press the MANUAL button to start and press again to stop.
- Enjoy: Your espresso is ready.

Frothing Milk (Steam Function)
- Prepare Milk: Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy). Do not fill more than one-third full.
- Activate Steam: Press the VAPEUR (Steam) button. Wait for the steam indicator light to become stable, indicating the machine has reached steaming temperature.
- Purge Steam Wand: Position the steam wand over the drip tray and briefly open the steam knob to release any condensed water. Close the knob.
- Froth Milk: Immerse the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk. Slowly open the steam knob. Move the pitcher up and down to create foam. Once desired texture and temperature are reached, close the steam knob.
- Clean Steam Wand: Immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to remove any milk residue. Briefly open the steam knob again to clear any milk from inside the wand.

Care and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your coffee machine.
- Daily Cleaning:
- Empty and rinse the drip tray after each use. The drip tray is removable for easy cleaning.
- Clean the portafilter and filter basket with warm water immediately after use to remove coffee grounds.
- Wipe down the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
- Clean the steam wand immediately after frothing milk.
- Water Tank Cleaning: Clean the water tank regularly with mild detergent and rinse thoroughly.
- Descaling: Depending on water hardness, descale the machine every 2-3 months. Use a commercial descaling solution designed for coffee machines and follow the product's instructions. This removes mineral buildup that can affect performance and taste.
- Storage: If storing the machine for an extended period, ensure it is clean, dry, and the water tank is empty. Store in a cool, dry place.
