Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your FORZA Portable Team Shelter:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all frame components, the shelter cover, and anchor pegs from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, flat surface.

Operating Instructions

The FORZA Portable Team Shelter is designed to provide protection from sun and light weather conditions for sports teams and individuals.

  • Sun Protection: The shelter cover features a 50+ UPF rating, offering excellent protection against harmful UV rays. Position the shelter to maximize shade coverage as needed.
  • Weather Protection: The coated polyester material provides resistance against light rain. However, as noted in the safety section, avoid use in extreme weather.
  • Portability: The shelter is lightweight and designed for easy transport. When moving the shelter, ensure it is lifted and not dragged to prevent damage to the frame or cover.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the lifespan of your team shelter.

  • Cleaning the Cover: Clean the polyester cover with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Allow the cover to air dry completely before storage.
  • Frame Care: The steel frame has a powder-coated finish for corrosion prevention. If the finish is scratched, touch up with rust-inhibiting paint to prevent rust. Wipe down the frame with a damp cloth as needed.
  • Storage: When not in use, disassemble the shelter and store all components in a dry, cool place, preferably in its original carry bag, to protect it from environmental elements and prolong its life.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect all frame connections, fabric, and anchor points for signs of wear, tear, or damage. Replace any damaged parts immediately.

Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your FORZA Portable Team Shelter.

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Shelter feels unstable or wobbly. Not properly anchored; frame connections loose. Ensure all anchor pegs are fully inserted into the ground. Check all frame pole connections to ensure they are securely locked. Avoid using in windy conditions.
Cover does not fit correctly or is sagging. Cover not aligned; Velcro straps not fully secured. Re-align the cover on the frame. Ensure all touch fastening straps are firmly attached and tightened to create tension.
Difficulty connecting frame poles. Debris in pole ends; spring button not engaging. Check for any obstructions inside the pole ends. Ensure the spring button is fully depressed when inserting and snaps into place upon connection.
