Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Tapo C21A camera:
- Download the Tapo App: Search for 'Tapo' in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and download the official app.
- Create an Account: Open the Tapo app and create a new Tapo ID. If you already have one, log in.
- Power On the Camera: Connect the camera to the power adapter and plug it into an electrical outlet. Wait for the LED indicator to flash red and green.
- Add Your Camera: In the Tapo app, tap the '+' icon in the top right corner, select your camera model (Tapo C21A), and follow the in-app instructions to connect it to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Positioning: Place the camera on a flat surface or use the included mounting kit to install it on a ceiling. Ensure the camera has a clear view of the area you wish to monitor.

2K 3MP High-Definition Video
The Tapo C21A captures video in 2K 3MP resolution, providing clear and detailed images. The camera features an F2.0 lens aperture to capture more light for sharper recordings. Note that the camera only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks.

Panoramic View and Motion Tracking
The camera offers a 360° horizontal and 114° vertical rotation range, allowing you to remotely pan and tilt the lens to cover a wide area. When motion is detected, the camera can automatically track the subject to keep it in view.

- Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi:
- Confirm that you are connecting to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The Tapo C21A does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
- Double-check your Wi-Fi password.
- Ensure your router's firewall settings are not blocking the camera.
