4. Product Features
4.1 Versatile Power Options
The RF25 cooler supports multiple power inputs for maximum flexibility. It can be powered by 12V/24V DC from your vehicle, 120V/240V AC from a standard wall outlet, or used with the optional Setpower PG216WH portable power pack for extended off-grid use.

4.2 Extended Cooling Capability
Designed to maintain cooling even during power outages, the RF25 features a built-in ice pack. When fully frozen, this ice pack can keep the cooler's contents cool for up to 50 hours without external power (tested at 77°F in laboratory conditions). This feature effectively creates a dual-zone single-control environment within the cooler, enhancing organization and cooling efficiency.

4.3 Efficient Cooling Performance
Equipped with Smartele refrigeration technology and a self-developed compressor, the RF25 can rapidly cool its contents. It can cool from 68°F (20°C) to 32°F (0°C) in approximately 15 minutes, and from 68°F (20°C) to -4°F (-20°C) in about 45 minutes. Users can select between ECO mode for energy saving (approximately 35W consumption) and MAX mode for faster cooling (approximately 45W consumption). The cooler consumes less than 1 kWh per day.

5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove the cooler from its packaging.
- Place the cooler on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation space (at least 6 inches) around all sides, especially the compressor vents.
- For vehicle use, secure the cooler using ropes through the designated holes on both sides to prevent movement during travel. (Ropes are not included).
5.2 Power Connection
Connect the cooler to a power source using the appropriate cable:
- DC Power (12V/24V): Use the DC power cord to connect the cooler to your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket or a compatible 12V/24V power outlet.
- AC Power (120V/240V): Use the AC adapter to connect the cooler to a standard household wall outlet.
- Portable Power Pack (PG216WH): For extended use without vehicle or household power, connect the cooler to the Setpower PG216WH portable power pack. The power pack can be magnetically attached to the cooler for convenience.

Figure 5.2: Magnetic attachment of the power pack.
5.3 Battery Protection Settings
The cooler features a 3-level battery protection system to prevent your vehicle battery from draining when using 12V/24V DC power. The factory default setting is 'H' (High Mode).

Figure 5.3: Battery protection voltage levels.
To adjust the battery protection level, refer to the cooler's control panel instructions. For example, in 'H' mode, the input voltage must be higher than 12.5V (for 12V systems) for the refrigerator to turn on. If the voltage drops below 11.3V, the refrigerator will automatically shut off to protect the battery.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
Press and hold the power button on the control panel to turn the cooler on or off. The LCD display will illuminate when the unit is powered on.
6.2 Temperature Adjustment
- Using the LCD Panel: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the control panel to set your desired temperature. The temperature range is from 50°F (10°C) to -4°F (-20°C).
- Using the Mobile App: Download the Setpower app to your smartphone. Pair your device with the cooler via Bluetooth. You can then adjust the temperature, switch modes, and power the unit on/off remotely within a 10-meter range.
6.3 Mode Selection (ECO/MAX)
Press the 'MODE' button on the control panel or select the mode via the mobile app to switch between:
- ECO Mode: Energy-saving mode, ideal for maintaining temperature over longer periods with lower power consumption.
- MAX Mode: Fast cooling mode, recommended for quickly reaching the desired temperature.
6.4 Refrigerator and Freezer Functionality
The RF25 can operate as either a refrigerator or a freezer, depending on the set temperature:
- Refrigerator Mode: Typically 32°F to 50°F (0°C to 10°C), suitable for vegetables, fruits, beverages, dairy, and lunch items.
- Freezer Mode: Typically -4°F to 32°F (-20°C to 0°C), suitable for ice cream, seafood, meat, fish, and bakery items.

7.3 Storage
When not in use for an extended period, clean the cooler thoroughly, leave the lid slightly ajar to prevent odors, and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Cooler not turning on | No power supply; Loose connection; Low battery voltage (DC mode) | Check power cable connection; Ensure power source is active; Adjust battery protection level or charge vehicle battery. |
| Cooling performance is poor | Blocked ventilation; Door not sealed properly; Ambient temperature too high; ECO mode selected | Clear vents; Ensure lid is closed tightly; Move cooler to a cooler environment; Switch to MAX mode. |
| Error Code E1 displayed | Low input voltage (DC mode) | This indicates the battery protection system has activated. Increase input voltage or adjust battery protection setting to a lower level (L or M). |
| Unusual noise | Cooler not level; Fan obstruction | Place cooler on a level surface; Check for and remove any obstructions from the fan. |
