  • Forward-Facing Position: Only transition to forward-facing once your child meets the minimum weight and height requirements and has outgrown the rear-facing limits.
  • Vehicle Compatibility: Verify that your vehicle is compatible with ISOFIX installation if you intend to use this method. Consult your vehicle's owner's manual.

  2. Install using the ISOFIX system as described in Section 4.1.
  3. Adjust the recline to the most reclined position suitable for a newborn (refer to Section 5.2).
  4. For Group 0+ (newborns), use the padded body and head supports for proper positioning.

4.3. Forward-Facing Installation (Group 1, 2, 3)

For older toddlers and children.

  1. Ensure the car seat is rotated to the forward-facing position.
  2. Install using the ISOFIX system and Top Tether as described in Section 4.1.
  3. Adjust the recline to an upright position suitable for the child's age and comfort.
  4. For Group 2 and 3, the internal 5-point harness may be removed, and the child secured using the vehicle's 3-point seat belt, guided by the car seat's belt guides. Consult the specific instructions for harness removal.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. 360° Rotation

The car seat features a 360° rotation function for ease of use.

5.2. Recline Adjustment

The car seat offers 4 recline positions for your child's comfort.

  1. Locate the recline adjustment lever, typically found at the front or side of the seat base.
  2. While holding the lever, adjust the seat to one of the 4 available recline positions.
  3. Ensure the seat clicks firmly into the chosen position.

5.3. Harness Adjustment

The 5-point harness must be adjusted to fit your child snugly.

  1. Shoulder Strap Height: For rear-facing, shoulder straps should be at or slightly below your child's shoulders. For forward-facing, they should be at or slightly above your child's shoulders. Adjust the headrest to simultaneously adjust the shoulder strap height.
  2. Tightening the Harness: Pull the harness adjustment strap at the front of the seat until the straps are snug against your child's body. You should not be able to pinch any slack in the harness straps at the shoulder.
  3. Loosening the Harness: Press the harness release button (usually located near the adjustment strap) and pull the shoulder straps forward.
  4. Chest Clip: Position the chest clip at armpit level.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your car seat.

  • Fabric Covers: The fabric covers are removable for cleaning. Hand wash with mild soap and cold water, or machine wash on a delicate cycle with cold water. Do not use bleach. Air dry only; do not tumble dry.
  • Harness Straps: Wipe harness straps with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not immerse in water or machine wash, as this can weaken the webbing.
  • Plastic Parts: Wipe plastic parts with a damp cloth and mild soap.
  • Buckle: Clean the buckle by rinsing it under warm water. Do not use detergents or lubricants.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the car seat for any signs of wear, damage, or loose parts. If any damage is found, discontinue use and contact customer support.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your car seat, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Car Seat Feels Loose After Installation:
Solution: Re-check ISOFIX connectors for a secure 'click' and green indicators. Ensure the Top Tether (if used) is taut. Push the car seat firmly into the vehicle seat while tightening.
  • Harness Straps are Difficult to Tighten/Loosen:
Solution: Ensure the harness release button is fully pressed when loosening. Check for any twists in the harness webbing under the seat. Ensure no fabric is obstructing the adjustment mechanism.
  • Seat Does Not Rotate Smoothly:
Solution: Ensure the rotation release lever/button is fully engaged. Check for any obstructions under the seat or in the rotation mechanism. Ensure the car seat is not overloaded.
  • Child's Head Slumps Forward (Rear-Facing):
Solution: Adjust the recline position to a more reclined angle. Ensure the padded body and head supports are correctly installed for smaller infants.

If the issue persists, contact Infanti customer support.
