1. Important Safety Instructions

  • Electrical Safety: Ensure the oven is properly grounded. Do not operate with a damaged power cord or plug. Disconnect power before servicing.
  • Child Safety: This oven features a child lock function. Always activate it when children are present. Do not allow children to play with or in the oven.
  • Burn Hazard: Oven surfaces become hot during operation. Use oven mitts when handling hot items. Do not touch heating elements.

  • Flammable Materials: Do not store flammable materials in or near the oven.

3. Setup and Installation

This oven is designed for built-in installation. Proper installation is crucial for safe and efficient operation. It is recommended that installation be performed by a qualified technician.

Pre-Installation Checklist:

  1. Verify that the electrical supply meets the oven's requirements (240 Volts, 2200W).
  2. Ensure the cabinet opening dimensions match the recommended built-in dimensions.
  3. Remove all packaging materials, including any protective films or tapes from the oven interior and exterior.
  4. Clean the oven interior with a damp cloth before first use.

4. Operating Instructions

Your AMZCHEF oven features three mechanical knobs for controlling temperature, cooking mode, and timer.

Setting the Oven:

  1. Power On: Ensure the oven is connected to power.
  2. Select Cooking Mode: Rotate the left knob to select one of the 6 available cooking modes (e.g., Bake, Roast, Convection).
  3. Set Temperature: Rotate the middle knob to your desired temperature between 120℉ and 480℉.
  4. Set Timer (Optional): Rotate the right knob to set the cooking duration, up to 2 hours. For times less than 20 minutes, rotate the knob to its maximum setting first, then adjust back to the desired time for accuracy.
  5. The oven will begin heating. The internal halogen lamp will illuminate, allowing you to monitor cooking progress.

5. Cooking Modes

Your oven offers 6 distinct cooking modes to suit various culinary needs.

Detailed Modes:

  • Bake: Ideal for cakes, cookies, and casseroles. Uses heat from both upper and lower elements.
  • Roast: Perfect for meats and poultry, providing even browning.
  • Convection: Utilizes a fan to circulate hot air, ensuring even heat distribution and faster cooking times. Excellent for roasting large items like chicken.
  • Broil: High heat from the upper element for grilling and browning the top of dishes.
  • Air Fry: Combines high heat with powerful convection for crispy results with less oil.
  • Warm: Maintains food at a serving temperature without further cooking.
  • Defrost: Gently thaws frozen foods.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your oven.

Cleaning the Interior:

  • Allow the oven to cool completely before cleaning.
  • The upgraded enamel interior can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the surface.
  • Remove oven racks and clean them separately in warm, soapy water.

Cleaning the Exterior:

  • Wipe the stainless steel exterior and tempered glass door with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for stainless steel or glass.
  • Do not spray cleaners directly onto the control panel. Apply cleaner to a cloth first.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your oven, refer to the following common problems and solutions.
