Safety Information

  • Always ensure the base is filled to its maximum capacity with water, sand, or a water-sand mixture for optimal stability, especially in windy conditions.
  • Lock all four wheels when the umbrella stand is in its desired position to prevent unintended movement.
  • Do not attempt to move the stand with an open umbrella, especially in windy conditions. Close the umbrella before relocating the stand.
  • Regularly check the thumb screws for tightness to ensure the umbrella pole is securely fastened.
  • Avoid placing the umbrella stand on uneven surfaces.
  • Keep children and pets away from the umbrella stand during movement or strong winds.
  • The rounded corners and edges are designed for safety; however, exercise caution during handling.

Setup and Assembly

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Verify that all components listed in the "Product Components" section are present.
  2. Position the Base: Place the empty umbrella stand base in your desired outdoor location.
  3. Fill the Base:

Locate the top water inlet (usually a cap on the top surface). Open it. You can fill the base with:

    • Water (up to 37 Liters / 82 lbs)
    • Sand (up to 132 lbs)
    • A mixture of water and sand (up to 123 lbs)

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the umbrella stand regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the HDPE material.
  • Seasonal Storage: If storing the umbrella stand for an extended period, especially during winter, it is recommended to empty the filling material (water/sand). To drain water, open the side drainage outlet (refer to Figure 2). Ensure the stand is completely dry before storing to prevent mold or mildew. Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Wheel Inspection: Periodically check the wheels for any debris or damage. Clean the wheels as needed to ensure smooth movement.
  • Screw Tightness: Occasionally check and retighten the thumb screws that secure the umbrella pole to maintain stability.
