4. Operating Instructions

Temperature Control

The FOHERE Mini Fridge is equipped with a 7-level adjustable thermostat located inside the unit. To adjust the temperature, simply turn the dial to your desired setting:

  • Setting "0" will turn the unit off.
  • Settings "1" to "7" adjust the temperature from warmest ("1") to coldest ("7").
  • For optimal performance and energy efficiency, a mid-range setting (e.g., "4" or "5") is generally recommended for daily use. Adjust as needed based on ambient temperature and food load.

Food Storage

Utilize the removable glass shelves to customize the interior space according to your storage needs. The door compartments are designed to hold various sizes of bottles and cans securely. Ensure items are not blocking the air vents for proper circulation.

Freezer Compartment

The compact freezer compartment is suitable for storing small frozen items and making ice cubes. Avoid overloading the freezer to ensure efficient freezing.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning

To maintain hygiene and efficiency, regularly clean your mini fridge:

  • Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Clean the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent and warm water.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or sharp objects, as these can damage the surfaces.
  • Ensure all surfaces are thoroughly dried before plugging the unit back in.

Defrosting

This unit features manual defrost. Defrost the freezer compartment when frost accumulates to a thickness of approximately 1/4 inch (6mm) or more. Excessive frost buildup can reduce cooling efficiency.

  1. Unplug the refrigerator from the power outlet.
  2. Remove all food items from both the refrigerator and freezer compartments.
  3. Leave the refrigerator door open to allow the frost to melt naturally. You can place a towel or a shallow pan at the bottom to collect any melting water from the drip tray.
  4. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior thoroughly.
  5. Plug the unit back in and allow it to cool down before returning food items.

Power Outage

In the event of a power outage, keep the refrigerator door closed as much as possible to help maintain the internal temperature and preserve food for a longer period.
